My first free dive trip

2 weeks ago i spent the whole weekend in Pulau Pramuka. It was actually a short trip (2D/1N) and took only about 2,5 hours from Muara Angke to get there. It was actually my first free dive experience in the sea, and turned out to be very fun! Well the rest of the geng was actually very serious with their free diving lesson, yet i was just hangin around under the sea and this time i reached approximately 8 meters down under! The scenery was amazing, clear visibility as well as the lovely soft corals surrounded with the cute fishes swimming around. Here are some sneak peek!

Deep conversation with chickens

Let me introduce you to my geek boyfriend. My boyfriend sometimes acts so strange. Like feeding the chickens in the yard (it’s not even his pet). I managed to take some pictures of him while he’s having his secret conversation with the chickens…like “pooook pok pok pokkk” (for real people. he can speak chickeneese!! buahahahah LMAOOO) *sorry babe :p
I giggled so hard everytime he speaks chickeneese, cos surprisingly the chickens seems to understand his language. It was super duper hilarious. And cute in the same time

Swimming in Papa Theo

Hello 2011!

Its been awhile since my last post, this time i must share my trip to the famous Papa Theo island. It’s one of the private island located in the Thousand Island. Eventhough it took 4,5 hours to reach there from Muara Angke harbour, i really don’t mind. It’s my first boat trip since 15 years ago (for real) and i got so nauseous all the way. But yeah, it doesn’t matter. Cause it’s worth the wait!

Verner Panton – The Collected Works

Hi everyone, i just returned back from a lovely weekend trip and found something really interesting while i stayed there. Held at National Museum of Singapore, Verner Panton visualized his collections perfectly nice. All of his chair designs and furnishing textiles he used describes how fun seating should be – just like playing. Each of his designs has a different concept, such as for “Mobile Furniture” and his initial design “Phantom chair”, but the best was (for me) highlighted by the “Phantasy Landscape” in bold and beautiful combination of colors and shapes.

Jens Lekman Coming to Town

Oohh….he’s really coming? ! This lad soothes my ears, and sadly, i didn’t get to watch his concert last year while i had a chance to (i was probably busy spending my pennies for sumthin else, ex. lipstick). Well, hopefully i can kick my ass today and ride myself to bandung to specially see Jens Lekman (pronounced ‘Yens’) singing directly in front of me.

Beggars in Jakarta

Ada beberapa kesan sih yang gue tangkap tentang Beggars, alias peminta-minta di Jakarta:

1. Banyak juga yang ngendon di JEMBATAN PENYEBRANGAN busway, kadang gak enak lalu lalang ngelewatin mereka.

2. Kebanyakan mereka itu ORANG TUA, alias ibu-ibu atau nenek-nenek…ga tega kan?

3. Ada juga yang sengaja GENDONG ANAK, kadang suka penasaran siy, itu anaknya beneran gak ya? Konon katanya, anak-anak ini disewa atau dipinjemin dari sang juragan…ckckck.

4. Bermodalkan GELAS AQUA BEKAS, mereka gak perlu repot-repot minta, cukup tidur di lantai atau lirik kanan lirik kiri dengan muka memelas…duh, gemes juga liatnya, kadang-kadang ada juga ibu-ibu yang keliatan masi sehat & bugar, mungkin masi ada lahan kerja dengan menjadi pembantu rumah tangga?

5. Jam operasi mereka dari PAGI menjelang MALAM, jarang siy ngeliat mereka beroperasi di pagi hari, karena gue udah biasa jalan ngelewatin jembatan setiap pagi & malam, kalo diperhatiin tampaknya mereka lebih banyak beroperasi saat hari sudah mulai gelap. Well, as you guys can see from the pict below, which i took just about last nite, one of these beggars appears in night lights.

Aaaaaah….pusing yeh mikirin berat badan?

Sama dong ah. Well berdasarkan pengalaman-pengalaman sebelumnya, lebih gampang gain weight rather than losing weight. Hahahaaa…pasti semua setuju dong? tinggal comot sana-sini then there you go…tradaaaa !! sukses naikin berat badan dengan cepat. Apalagi kalo comotnya itu nyomot greasy foods yang gurih, juicy dan tasty. Siapa juga yang gak ngiler? Kayak saya nih…dua minggu terakhir lagi doyan banget makan Big Mac, dan dalam waktu sekejap, jeans saya sekarang tambah ketat dan sesak. Konsumsi makanan junk food pun membuktikan betapa gak ngaruhnya bulan Ramadhan kemarin ini in losing my weight. Hahahaa…ya iya lah ya…niatnya kan bukan untuk nurunin berat badan. Anyways, saya juga pernah nyoba makan di KFC, dalam seminggu makan ayam crispy (bukan ayam yang original ya) sekitar 3-4 kali, dan hasilnya: saya langsung gained 6 pounds in just a week! Wah…kebayang deh itu lemak ayamnya ada di dalam badan saya rasanya lemes kalo kepikiran. Soalnya nurunin fat massnya itu susah setengah mati ! Padahal ngerasain ayamnya juga gak nyampe 10 menit. Tapi ya gimana dong ya…it’s so frickin hard to resist these junk foods. Cos it tastes so damn good guys!
